Apple One subscription

Apple One subscription service launched at Rs. 195

Apple launched its Apple One subscription service on Friday. The service clubs several Apple services including Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud storage (50GB) into one. It costs Rs. 195 ($15) for individuals and Rs. 365 ($20) for a family. The Family plan can be shared with up to 6 family members. Also, the iCloud storage limit is boosted to 200GB for the Family Plan.

There is one more variant of the plan available in countries including Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US. It is called Apple One Premier and costs ($30 per month) and also includes Apple News+ and new Apple Fitness+ (not yet available). The Premier plan offers iCloud storage to 2GB.

How you can subscribe to the Apple One

  • Go to the App Store and tap on your profile (situated at the top right corner).
  • Tap on subscriptions and you will see Get Apple One banner on top.
  • Tap “Try it now.” The service is free for 1 month and after 1 month you will be charged according to the plan.

The subscription service will help you save some money. If you individually opted out for all the services (Apple Music, Rs. 99, Apple Arcade, Rs. 99, Apple TV+, Rs. 99, iCloud, Rs. 75) then it costs Rs. 377 for a single user. But with Apple One it just costs Rs. 195. Similarly with Family Plan, you can save up to Rs. 201.
